Good morning friends and happy Monday! How about that great Super bowl game yesterday? I hope your favorite team won, or you won in the snack game, at least. Today I am bringing you some of my favorite outfits that are polka dot inspired. From casual wear to work wear — from big dots to small dots, polka dots rock! This post shows a few looks I’ve styled in the past year or so that demonstrate this on-trend look that is timeless and effortless. You’ll see it’s easy to wear the polka dot trend and still look stylish and professional.
I love polka dots. Big dots, small dots, I do not discriminate – I love them all. I also love that it is easy to incorporate them into a professional look. A pencil skirt is a timeless addition to any wardrobe. This one has a little stretch, so it is movable. This makes it so comfortable for whatever the work day calls for. A camisole under a sweater or jacket works well in warm temperatures. Whether it’s a solid cami or polka dot, you can’t go wrong with a cami for work. I love a cardigan for the office, on the days you want to dress a little more casual, but still look polished.
For warmer weather, I love a cardigan or kimono with polka dots. I found this one at Loft, and I’ve worn it for two seasons now. I love getting lots of bang for my buck in wearing certain outfit pieces through more than one season. This kimono is so versatile to wear with denim or white jeans, skirts or shorts. #itsakeeper
This super affordable dress is very comfortable and great for brunches or bridal showers, etc. You can dress it up with heels or down with flats. Adding pops of color will allow even more versatility to your outfit. Of course, I chose pink as an accent color, but blue or red are great options too.
I started my blog to help women a) know where to shop, b) know how to put things together and c) to feel confident in themselves. At the end of the day, I’m just like you. Trying to find the balance in work and home life. I know I feel more confident when I feel good in what I’m wearing. I hope you are inspired by my content and feel confident in yourself too.
