Good morning friends. What a nice weekend we’re having with sunny days and cool nights. Let’s enjoy the pleasant weather while we can. We had a taste of winter weather last week with some very frigid temps that have me ready to decorate for Christmas. Anyone else ready? Before we get into the holiday spirit, I am bringing you another fall look with black and pink. This tiered skirt was a top seller last month, and it makes me so happy that you love it so much. As I mentioned before, it is flattering and made of thick material for cooler weather.
I first showed you this skirt in a previous post here, and this time, showing you a different way to style it. Since the days are still warm here, an off the shoulder top is doable. I think they are so flattering, and a bit sexy without being too revealing. Also, these shoes have become a favorite for me this season. I wear them with skirts and dress pants and love love love them. Dressy, but comfortable always rates high in my book.
If you followed me a while, you know my love for pink. I love it, pretty much in any shade. One of the ways I like to incorporate it into fall and winter, is to pair it with black. This off the shoulder top in blush has balloon sleeves and the shirred waist is flattering to wear with high waist skirts and jeans.
I am a lover of Dooney and Burke handbags from way back. I scored this gorgeous snake print blush colored bag during the summer while it was on sale. I have linked it and others in case it’s sold out. Dooney and Burke bags are such a great investment. They are made of genuine leather, guaranteed for a year and honestly will last forever. I love a good deal, but will splurge for quality handbags and shoes. I think of them as an investment I will use for several seasons, so it’s worth the extra dollars.
We are enjoying that extra hour of sleep today, since we set the clocks back. Sundays are always crazy trying to do ‘all the things’ before starting the work week. I’m still posting fall looks — but starting to plan my holiday outfits this season. I posted an affordable, dressy two-piece outfit in my last post that would work for a holiday outing.
