Happy Sunday friends. For some of you that didn’t know, I started a new job last October. Between the new duties and the Covid-19 frenzy, it’s been a doozey of a year. I haven’t had a lot of time for blog posts. Here is to hoping to get back to some normalcy now and post more often. Here is a blog post I shared a couple of months ago, if you want to catch up, you can find it here. Today I’m sharing some of my favorite cardigan sweaters for fall.
This fall I have become completely smitten with cardigan sweaters. I mean, I’ve always loved them. However, this year I’ve become a little obsessed with them, you might say. I love the ease of a cardigan and the classic style. Cardigan sweaters are stylish, yet also so cozy. Not to mention, the same sweater you can wear to work with dress pants and heels or booties, can also be worn with leggings and sneakers. I mean, what’s not to love?
Let’s start with a great Amazon find. It’s a waffle knit sweater, not too thick but also not too thin. I’ve already worn it with so many things.

Duster length is one of my favorites. However, I’m pretty excited they are coming in hot in cropped length and chunky styles as well. Chunky cardigans are like a fall hug, which I haven’t gotten many of lately thanks to the Covid situation. #byecorona
I snagged this black cardigan during the Nordstrom sale in August. I have been wearing it around the house and out and about too. It’s safe to say at home, it could double as my robe when I’m cold. #keepinitreal It’s a bit pricey, but worth every penny. This particular cardigan came with me on the plane recently and it kept me cozy the whole time. Barefoot Dreams cardigan sweaters are super soft and very well made. Furthermore, the sweaters come in several styles and colors and you won’t regret the splurge. This is a cardigan sweater I will wear year after year. Fit tip, I sized up to a medium for more length and it fit just fine. Oh, and it has pockets too. #winning
Cardigan sweaters are the MVP to me, with so many options to style them. You can wear them with a strappy or sleeveless top in warmer weather, and also with a ruffled top or turtleneck as the weather cools down. Cardigans are a great option for work for me, especially because my office is always so dang cold. Additionally, one of my favorite ways to wear a longer cardigan is over my workout wear after leaving the gym. It’s the perfect way to cover up when running errands.
Are you a fan of cardigan sweaters? Or do you prefer pullover sweaters? Let me know in the comments. Have a great week and thanks for stopping by.
